I picked up the extended version of Lord of the Rings – Fellowship of the Ring today. Most of the additional footage was subtle and didn’t make the movie seem longer. The sound is incredible! I also got a free pass to see Two Towers, that was a really nice bonus!

Am going to see Star Wars Attack of the Clones on the IMAX screen this Wed! Whoot, 50 foot Yoda, officially dubbed BFY, or Big Flippin Yoda! Yoda Man! Or muppet. Or ex-muppet. I am such a geek sucker. Course I talked Maggie and Sarah into going as well!

Today I carved my first pumpkin in a long time. I drew a template on paper , tacked it on and started carving. I also did my first skin peeling, for the eye, nose and teeth. The lighting is done via xmas lights (purple, halloween lights to be exact) View Mayor Pumpkin
